Fantastic fight from both bots! Death Roll had some great shots and Gigabyte’s grit and defensive evasions won it for him. Hope they can both come back next season 💪🏽

Another exciting match. Deathroll started strong, but Gigabyte was taking the hits. Both seemed evenly matched as things progressed. But the point where the collided in the corner near the upper deck, the blow caused Deathroll to get caught in the battle box hazard. Even after it got out, it couldn't self right & got counted out. That was quite a win for Gigabyte

On uneven ground the plow skimmer bots would be worthless. Really need a gravel and brick and mud battle space outdoors. Maybe an offroad battlebots separate show Would also be neat to see a drill bot that could drill into the presser skimmer plates.

Can't keep up with it in the UK,One day we are watching series 4 the next day series 5 and then we get bounty hunters. As far as I can see we have only once had the pleasure of watching the final 32 once ,its such a shame as we love the programme but get let down by the channels that broadcast it here

I just hope double tap puts up a good show. Would like to see some new bots in next year’s tournament, maybe with a good showing double tap will get some good considerations.
Beta has become one of my favourites for Battlebots. Partly because of John Reid and Jason Marston and the legacies they've created with their robots, TerrorHurtz and Thor respectively from Robot Wars. I believe Beta would win their first fight, but I'm expecting potential from Double Tap and it's weapon.

Beta should be fine as long as he doesn't use the boat configuration. If he fights deathroll in the final, he should just use the regular wedge since deathroll doesn't have any ground game
It's going to be tech vs. tech, and this game is going to bring new advances to our technology
What Beta did to Double Tap after getting the bot upended against the rail was excessive & totally unnecessary. Double Tap was immobilized & not going anywhere. The match was essentially over, yet John felt the need to use the hammer to go after the exposed underside of the robot. Just glad that karma caught up with John & Free Shipping knocked Beta out of the competition.
Apparently beta isn't coming back next season with John Reed working with Gabriel stroud on a new entry.
I don't think hammer bots are very effective.
Beta did so well in the qualifying last year with only losing to Black Dragon so I feel confident for them, but as we learned in the final episode of the main season underdogs know how to bite.
